How to endure your daily exercise needs is for you if you still groan at the thought of exercise, and have refused to do anything about it. This is the time to take a fresh look at what it means to be active. Regular physical activity is one of the best ways to speed up your weight-loss progress. Similarly, exercise supports health in a number of important and surprising ways. From reducing your risk of degenerative diseases to uplifting your mood.

Let’s take a look at what constitutes “exercise” and how easily you can ensure your daily need for physical activity with ease.

Identify Your Activity Level

There are four categories of physical activists. First, those classified as athletes, who train and compete regularly.  Second, people who are active and fit, who enjoy sports leisurely at the gym, perhaps play a weekly game of tennis or golf. Third, those who don’t participate in structured sports, but are active in daily life. They may run around after children, bike to work or walk long distances to their job. Fourth are self-employed, who keep their activity levels high simply by managing home life and building the business.

You are likely to fall into a category. As such, identify and make the most of it to maximize your physical activity level.

Exercise Your Right To Good Health

Even though you know exercise is good for you, the bottom line is you shun exercise. However, the good news is there is another way to stay fit. You can include at least 30 minutes of total physical activity into your daily routine. This can range from taking stairs to gardening, doing laundry to parking at the far end of the parking lot, and walking to your destination. Doing such normal daily physical activities will encourage weight loss and maintain bones, muscles, joints, and balance. In addition, exercise reduces the risk of premature death, heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

Slow Down If You Can’t Talk

“If you cannot carry on a conversation while working out, it means you are working too hard”.

This warning is a familiar message near treadmills in many gyms.  Frequent visitors to the gym probably don’t take this warning seriously. Hence you see many struggling very hard to carry on a conversation, particularly when on treadmills. And most times gasping for breath but still don’t reduce their pace. How to endure your daily exercise also means you have to know when you are overdoing an exercise and slow down.

How do you know when you are going overboard while exercising?  Here is a simple test. Say the words of your National Anthem out loud.  If it’s tough to voice those familiar words, you are probably pushing yourself too hard.

Another test is to try to sing along with a radio or personal iPod in the gym.  If you have to pause for breath in the middle of lyrics, you need to slow down.

Avoid needless chit chat

Then again, if you are beside a friend in the gym and want to talk, but your friend is finding it difficult to maintain the flow, give him a break and chill out for a while.  Allow him to do his session in peace.  Since not everyone is in the mood to make polite conversation. Your friend wants to make the most of the time he has out of a busy schedule and speed off. Learn to read the signals.

Perform a talk test during exercise

However, once in a while, perform a talk test because it’s a practical way for you to monitor your intensity during exercise.  Just ensure you say the words out loud, and not mutter under your breath.  After all, you want to keep up the exercise habit, so do not turbo-charge your workouts beyond what your heart can take.
