The eye disability of Master Peniel Patrick is one of the worst that can happen to mankind in terms of loss of vision. Thankfully today he can heave a sigh of relief alongside his parents as Master Peniel undergoes the restoration process to restore his sight, courtesy of the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation. This humanitarian gesture has given them hope, joy, laughter, and reasons to sing melodious songs of praise to God.
Master Peniel’s story published in November generated much public sympathy for how the young boy’s fate met with the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation. This was at a point when all hopes seemed lost as Master Peniel was born prematurely, and the incubating effects on him resulted in the loss of vision, due to excessive oxygen.
With both eyes blotted by cataracts, the chances of the young promising boy gaining his vision require a surgical operation, which entails a huge cost that the parents battled to raise all to no avail.

Likewise stimulated by the passion for public services, the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation is relentlessly engaging in projects of sensitization on the need to impact skills on Nigerians. This is aimed towards achieving record-breaking feats where over 10 million Nigerians can be well-skilled and set to embark on self-employment ventures. This 10 million skills acquisition project is commencing soon along with other vital and purposeful initiatives.
